I love having my moon in pisces, tis magical and beautiful in many ways...yet sometimes I can plunge into very dark and depressive states and....I find music, the ocean and the embrace of a loved one to be very soothing.....at the moment i'm in retreat mode as I am feeling very down.....would be cool to hear of other pisces moon experiences of this aspect to our inner nature ...ways of coping and healing, especially in relation to heart break and grief....yours arielxxx

Moon in Pisces - welcome

Welcome fellow Moon Fish!

Only in recent years has it come to my attention how critical the Moon sign really is within our personalities. My sun and rising sign have dominated my outward personality for the majority of my life, and yet, underneath has been this moon sign, Pisces, being a source of extreme sensitivity and rich dreamworld life, and mystical tendencies. Unlike sunsign Pisces, the moonsign Pisces I've known have been more apt to keep it under wraps. the moon sign is our hidden self.

I'll post more what I've discovered about this significant mark to our personalities, and what a beautiful gift we have been bestowed with - for my moon sign I am so thankful, for without it, how dreary life might be! My imagination and my creativity are my salvation.

I'd love to hear from the rest of you out there what it means to you, how you express this aspect of yourself, what you know about it (I'm not a professional astrologer by any means!) and we can discuss various other astrological aspects as well :) I look forward to discussing and celebrating this blessed aspect with you all!

Pisces moon & relationships

Gemini here w/ Pisces moon and Libra ascendent. I was wondering if any of you feel extremely attracted to other water sign moons but also feel that they have the power to exploit your feelings (more so than other moon signs) because they are on such a similar level emotionally? With understanding comes the power to take advantage of a person's weaknesses. I love love Cancer moons as friends, but I feel as though I could never be romantically involved with one again because it seems like when two highly sensitive/moody people collide it ends in hurt feelings and a lack of clarity...and despite my Libra rising I'm as moody as they come being a water-influenced Gemini (thank god for my Venus in Taurus!) Can anyone relate to this good but sometimes destructive rapport with other water moons?

Secondly, I've been experiencing an ongoing flirtation with a Capricorn moon (Virgo Sun, Aries Ascendent) and I'm at a point where there is the possibility of it turning into something more. However, I'm terrifed because 1. strong feelings and being this into someone don't happen naturally or frequently for me, I'm pretty selective and somewhat aloof and 2. his chart basically spells out "cold critical asshole" haha well not right now....but the amount of virgo/earth in his chart is a bit startling. Has anyone had romantic experience with Cap moons? I feel very drawn to them (and earth in general) because they give me a feeling of safety/security, but have never been seriously involved with one.

confused, help please?

Hi, I'm sort a new here, ive browsed before but im a new member. I'm a Taurus sun and mercury, and pisces moon, venus, and mars and sag rising. For as long as I ve been alive, I've made a nasty habit of isolating myself from others, even those who I really liked. Now I find myself completely lost in how to relate to others. in polarity i also find it hard to deal with the intensity of energy exchanged with others.I feel like i live in my own world so much that I really have no concept of how to appropriately converse with someone. supposedly its because we're so sensitive and whatnot but this time i don't think its cause of that. Lately I find myself breaking away from my friends and everyone cause im so mean and bitter and critical that i dont want to hurt them. also i was completely addicted to astrology and astrology forums because it felt like i was connecting with people which i was always lacking. So now its influenced my perception of others and my aura flickers like a computer screen. lol its crazy but true. im really sorry for dropping this mess on everyone but i dont know what else to do. i just worry to much about people. it seems like humanity going through an interesting point right now, like we're reaching out for each other more but are struggling with this state of personal isolation. i wish i could just disappear and watch everyone forever. any advice if any of that makes sense?

Saturn Opposite Moon - Current Transit ?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering how everyone has been feeling under the current Saturn opposite Moon transit? I've been having a really rough time the past few months ....feeling exhausted, emotionally drained, and totally alone. Also feel like the universe just won't cut me a break - with ANYTHING. Wondering if anyone else is having a tough time with this particular transit? I also have this placement natally so that could be why I've been struggling but I just wanted to put it out there and see.

Some of you on the board have been so helpful in alerting me to this transit - and how it might affect me given my moon placement. It's a thing someone clued me in! Saturn has just been weighing me down......wondering how long this transit remains in place.

In what package do you get your psychic hits?

I have been working at developing this aspect but suddenly wondered if it coming from Pisces could make a difference in my training.
I have other psychic keynotes in my chart such as a Uranus trine to Moon and mercury however and some strar conjuction in Libra that indicates great power in that field but still, my basic sensitivity, according to astro is a tenth house Capricornish Pises moon.

How are you unfolding on that level? Do you apply any discipline to it ? (maybe this is Capricorn speaking but still, we need continuity in this endeavour to develop.

THE PISCES MOON EMPATH

I am new, just found this on tribe and glad to meet my borther and sister moon people. I have done much research, spiritual discliplines and visionary experiences to understand my pisces Moon. When I was 11 I realized for the first time when I looked at the moon, that it was a 3 dimensional sphere in the sky. That day changed my life. Before then I thought litterally I was a wild large cat, such as a jaguar and lion. I didn't know 20 years later i would enter the shamans path, but then it made sense.

In my understandings both my study as an astrologer, a shaman and a pisces moon person, we are... "An Empathic Sponge in the Great Ocean of Emotional Energy around Us". This is the best phrase I can come up with, back then and now. In 1987 when I first went on the web I typed in EMPATHIC HEALER. 1 reply came up. "1 !!! " I didn't know where or how I put those two words together but now I know. That within our emotional body is REMEMBERENCE. Not knowledge memory thats rote like the mind, but an Enternal Remembrance system". I asked the guy, are you an empath too? Can you feel everyone's stuff? I was exploring my pisces moon nature then for survival, since my watery moon is in the house of memory, the cancer house. He replied, no, i am trying to create a role playing game. Obviously he was operating off the sub-conscious psyche of Neptune, our ruler as well.

I found that pisces moon has a 'latent' response. Maybe because I have a double water element with mine. Has anyone else focused on their emotional body, or healed it enough to see that something happens but the resonse could be a week later, even if its anger or an emotion and just comes out of the blue. Being an aquarian sun with this combo might have created some distortion of control until i could enter it fuller compared to others who might have a sun in water or earth.

In my long study on my moon, the way i feel and respond, the emotions that are as large as the ocean, there are two levels to the emotional body. The Higher levels of the Pisces Moon and the Lower undeveloped levels or 'karma' still present in the emotional body from previous lives. We get a very feeling moon, because we come here to feel and express it within the beauty of art, music, poetry or anything else that serves its coming forth.

The lower levels I've found are anger, jealousy or any host of personal emotion that don't seem to go away. The higher levels are Astral travel, intution highly sensitive, psychic abilities, seership, third eye opening, prophecy, advanced and regular dreaming communication languages, anything that requires entering this ocean on consciousness in the unified fields.

So i am glad to be among my own here and look forward to reading your posts.

Scary Movies!

so i was wondering if anyone reacts to scary movies like i do... i always jump and get really "involved" in the film and it's very easy to manipulate me in this way i suppose. i think that's why i like comedies (romantic or otherwise) so much? i enjoy the emotional involvement... and the same goes for scary movies.. i like them a lot, and i was wondering if others felt the same way? i'm the only one of my friends that gets like this. i can't decide if it's my sun (cancer) or moon (pisces) that may be somewhat related to this.

Transiting Saturn opposition Moon

Is anyone else feeling the effects of transiting Saturn opposing our natal Pisces moon? I'm normally an optimistic person I can take anything that's thrown at me but this has got me panicking. It's already got me feeling down, I wouldn't go as far as to say depressed, but it's definately taking it's toll on my moods- and also I am having trouble sleeping. But I suppose it might just be that it's squaring my Saturn aswell. I don't know much about transits really but I've just gone through Saturn opposite my Sun in Aquarius and as I was blissfully unaware of it until the transit was almost over I did not fret about it nothing really bad happened in fact nothing much happened at all outwardly it was a very slow period but I learnt alot. This one feels alot different though and I've heard bad scary things about it!

I just wondered if anyone has got any words of wisdom about this transit or if anyone just wants to talk about, you know "feelings" and such???

Pisces and sensitivity to medication

I'm a Lunar and Rising Piscean but I am curious to know if any of you guys are sensitive medications whether or not it is over the counter, prescribed or illegal.

I find that I am horribly sensitive to medications, usually if I do take medication (which I usually do not) I have to take half the reccomended dose for adults. Or, for instance medicines that are over the counter have strange side effects on me. If I take Nyquil I have hallucinations, like really weird ones, walls breathing etc. I have had two surgeries and the anesthesia has almost done me in both times! My blood pressure drops morbidly low (50/30) and it took me a week both times to get over being put under.

I've read various places that Pisceans are sensitive to medications and should stay away from recreational drugs and the like.

Anyway, just curious if you all have had the same experience!

My main question involves a moon and north node conjuction. But as I look closer chiron and part of fortune are involved in the conjuction also and that all is in opposition to uranus,jupiter, and pluto. I have pretty much detached from all the emoting and drama of my fellow humans. Especially, I do not try to rescue people and my life has become so much lighter.
I do not drag troublemakers stuck on repeat anymore that only make my life blindly miserable though I never went for the really heavy case, just the interesting ones.
I still offer some advice but I am changing even there. It is a useless exercise and I will wait until being asked in the future.
If people do not want to listen, it is fine. How can I be sure that I have an answer? People do what works for their personalities too, being an organic whole.

I have become detached, not insensitive, and that is a blessing.

I even read about a famous psychic, Sonia Choquette, who had been called on the site of a grisly double murder at the tender age of sixteen by the police and had become totally cut off from her gift as a result of this traumatic event.
She underwent a dark night of the soul and then lengthy desensitization training for six months that left her even laughing at the event ...sic. Yes, she could laugh at it as an exercise!
Well, it worked and allowed her to keep performing at her peak and help humanity as she did not absorb the feelings anymore. I seem not to either.

Thoughts and, I shall add, emotions are things.

I have met many sensitive people who are totally marred by their sensitivity not knowing even that they can go beyond it. And everyone knows of an irresponsible Pisces numbing oneself with alcohol and wallowing in self-pity and victimization while creating worse for people around

I have the Moon in Pisces at 25 degree's in my 7th House. I have the Sun in Capricorn and Virgo rising.

Ever since I was a kid, I think it was like being in a World of my own. Listening to songs on the radio during the 70's would inspire me. As I became older it was movies, and then I have travelled somewhat, but I have now returned to living by the Sea, that deepens and further's my creativity. i think my Pisces moon responds well to water. I turn to the hills for strength, and water's influence to calm me.

Processing the emotions with the Pisces Moon

• When faced with negative emotions, my Pisces moon sometimes but not always gets out of kilter; gets temporary discombobulated and processes the bad stuff out.
The next day I am as good as new but I remember the experience.
I am told this is an unusual way of functioning.

Is that how it works for you?

My moon is in the tenth house of Capricorn (so should be more stable). My sun is in Aries and I have a lot of stabilising Taurus, Libra, Leo and Aquarius plus a Gemini rising sign.

We have a reputation for being emotionnaly sensitive and lost.
This is not my case though I am empathic and highly psychic.

Hey there,

This is the only place I've seen which is dedicated to moon in Pisces people. Neat-o.

Anyway, I'm here to discuss toughening up as Pisces moon folk. The way I see it, Pisces is pretty undefined. I feel pretty good until I hear some astrologer saying how weak I am supposed to be. No astrologer has Neptune pinned down completely. You have to get your ego (Sun) to bitchslap your Moon and get it back to work in the fucking kitchen (detrimenting in Virgo-opposition stylee). I'm an Aries with Moon in Pisces by the way.

I've got dreams. I know you people know about dreams, we're on simillar wavelengths here. My dream doesn't involve being a ****ing doormat. Does yours? I doubt it. My dreams require success in business, relationships and a whole lotta shit that doesn't involve being an oversensitive hippy. No offence to any oversensitive hippies but by the time I'm 30 I want a nice house with a god-damned swimming pool and a whole lotta fine ass inside it.

Ok. I like hippies and pretty much everyone to varying degrees. Hell, I've got hippy friends, entrepeneur friends, black friends, Nazi friends...

Probably due to Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Scorpio and Sun in 8th house, I have seen the dark sides of life. I've had to defend my house with weapons against a gang of guys a few months ago. I've had a threat of my kneecaps being blown off just a couple of weeks ago by a disgruntled "creditor". I've been a Christian, Satanist, Druggy/Dealer, Healthfreak and Businessman. I'm 22 and at the moment I'm sort of a combination of them all. I have a deep need for love. But also a deep need for control and power. Deep down I know I can achieve anything if I remain disciplined.

I have had the introspective type phases in my life. Some of you have spent these times feeling depressed. My dark time involved me dabbling deep within the occult and uncovering the true power of the emotions. It's not just an internal thing. The deep emotions are powerful and can effect the solid-concrete world. During this time if I were to get extremely angry with someone they would end up in misfortune only days afterwards without me doing ANYTHING. Out of body experiences were common.

I'll be flirting with a hot Gemini chick in university who asks me what my tattoo means. I change the subject: "Longstory... hey have you ever been to... blah blah".
The markings on my forearm the symbol of a Satanic order I used to belong to. I'm a well dressed business student and I only allow my Scorpio friends under the veil.

I socialize and love the company of others. But then I get bored and introspect to work on myself and amass knowledge of various kinds. One thing in particular which pisses me off about my moon is that I attract a ton of Virgo women, who I assume are moistened by the opposition magnet effect. Virgos also happen to be the one sign of the Zodiac who I tend not to be sexually attracted to no matter how physically attractive they are. The attention is flattering but annoying as I can get drawn in by people who are not entirely worth my time at the time. By the way, I have mercury in Aries in aspect to mars in Scorpio... so apologies if I'm emotionally abusing anyone here. I know it must be difficult for you not be able to get a piece of my ass.

We are not doormats. Maybe the universe puts us on default-doormat mode because we have such intense power. We have the power to change. Not just ourselves, but others as well. The media is one big Pisces. The Piscean magic weaves its way into the brains of the masses through films and propaganda. There was one particular communist rebel Pisces who was born over two thousand years ago and he still inhabits in people's minds to this day. But I digress...

Sure, a small part of me sometimes thinks hook me up to a respirator and plunge me into a tank of warm goo so I'm back in the womb. But you know what? FUCK THAT SHIT! We are supposed to be the mature ones of the Zodiac. The goddamned wise guy at the top of the mountain who happens NOT to be a professional victim. There's plenty of time for warm goo when we're disembodied and floating around on the astral plane (dead).

I sometimes feel like an Aries with concrete feet. The concrete being the tendancy to be content with subsatisfactory conditions. Yeah, I know that's a paradox. That's why it feels like concrete because it's not easy to understand.

Astrologically speaking, you know what the ticket out of the emotional dumping ground is? Mercury. It's the detriment of Pisces. Virgo in particular, as it is the opposite of Pisces. This means be practical. And we should recall a thing or two from our Scorpio cousins of ICE. Have cold showers. Hold ice-cubes in your hands and bear the pain for as long as you can and gradually increase the time. Freeze your waters and the waters around you to establish control again.

Wow. Just writting this was theraputic. I've never even talked about this before. Nice.

Anyway, I might see you around. You might be the janitor cleaning the toilets in my CEO headquarters in a few years time. Dont put the joint down the toilet. We could smoke it and have a moon to moon conversation.

full moon stuff

My emotions are sometimes extreme and almost too much to take during a full moon. sometimes i just sit or lie there and feel like I am going to lose my grip under it all. wondering if any other pisces in moon people sometimes feel like they are in the twilight zone with emotions and impressions of things that are very intense - especiallly around a full moon. it is not really an anxiety attack but just a bizarre flooding of sorts into the awareness of feelings.

I just just having a conversation with another pisces moon (were both sags too). I am a yoga teacher trained in India and Nepal with 15 years experience on the spiritual path. Here's what I said in response to her question about stress:

Well, I am not stressed because I am a yogi! I have done yoga and meditation for 15 years. That's 15 years of hard work to move beyond my mind and keep my focus on growing emotionally. When I was 19 I was over-thinking alot and confused about my feelings.

Remember that lunar pisces are sensitive beings...we feel things that other people don't. the problem is that we can be easily confused with all the information that comes in, we have to learn to back away from all the energy. That's how yoga helps, it helps to stay balanced.

Remember: don't believe everything you think! Our brains and pisces mind will keep thinking 100 mph, just let it go, your job is to breathe, relax, smile, focus on what makes you happy. PISCES: For some reason, our Piscean friends barely notice their near death experiences. Instead, during a typical day at the office, many Pisceans report seeing beings with long-suffering expressions on their faces and who patiently tell the Piscean to go back to his or her body.

aspects of the moon

My moon is six degrees pisces in the 5th house square mars and uranus, trine jupiter.

Anyone else with difficult aspects care to share their experience? Any suggestions?

Also, come here to share your own moon aspects.

I am just learning how to interpret aspects, so it is difficult for me to express in words how these aspects affect me. All I can say is there is tension--namely between my emotional sensitivities and my external aggresive/assertive side.

so let me tell you what I did, and you tell me if it is kinda sorta on the right track. I met someone, who I really thought had to be a water sign. But he was Gemini, which seemed so wrong to me. I can always feel water, and I can feel him, and he totally didn't feel like a Gemini. Although I didn't feel him at first. Anyway, I know his birthday and where he was born. I put that info into astro.com along with midnight, and it gave me pisces moon. Of course the rising sign and all the other info won't be correct, but the moon sign should be correct shouldn't it? I should at least be able to figure out his sun and moon signs from his date and place of birth right?

Im taking on this project full force,
heres the facts-

1. A young man 21 years of age last saturday night 3.3o am was hit by a semi on the freeway in my town still alive than got ran over by another and died, and yes the sad part -a passerby in a car car was trying to help him, and thats why the second semi swerved out of the cars way unknowingly driving over exactly where the guy was lying.
2. My freinds knew him, but i didnt personally.
3. They are makign memorial stencils to spray all over town.
4. I told a freind im secretly going to construct to my best abilities a memorium song.
5. Im half way into the song and the pressure i put on myself to get in finished payyed off, because its my best peice ive ever written period and ive written countless tunes, in EVERY genre imaginable even some that dont exsist yet.

Just thought youd know this is big news to me and all my family and freinds are really hoping i come through with a song worthy of being dedicated to that person.

Sorry for that rant.

I have this one question to you fellow pisces moons..there this one problem iam having. Iam aquarius sun - to cut it short, aquarius people are exceptions of the rule. Iam pisces moon - i want to be merged with everything. Aquarius makes that easy - there are little blockages. But it feels like two parts of myself are fighting. Aquarius is more cool, detached, "screw em all if they have problem" indenpendent type. Pisces is almost reverse - more weak individuality and more emotional absorbtion, especially since my moon tight sextile to my neptune (and venus and mars are conjuct in pisces to boot). Well, you probably understand - if others arent happy, how could i be? Too much part of them for that.

Can you see the conflict here? Ultra individuality (i have sun conjuct jupiter and square pluto - practically, id lose everything to be free) with ultra groupie (i think that pisces being last sign realizes at last that the desire for individuality is largely result of fear of being caged aquarius have, we could call it emotional claustrophobia). Logic and emotions..

Now iam not saying it cant work together - both are rather off-worldy signs, both want to give to people..but each their own way. Pisces wants to give smile to everyone, aquarius wants (in my square pluto version anyway) to kick everyone into nuts so he wakes and starts to think, think! Aquarius want to shake everyone from complacency, pisces knows the world is perfect as it is.

I just have mess in myself right now..feels like i need to pick between being myself and being with others. Long story, but it seems unavoidable - old friends just arent much of an friends anymore. Iam scared of letting the old ppl go and scared of going find new friends. Now if i was 15.. but iam 21. I feel little bit like pussy to tell the truth :)

Sorry if its little ranty, cant help it. Anyone who has at last passing experience with air sun/ pisces moon could give me a hint on how to integrate the ego and emotions?

Wow, I go for a long trip getting in touch with myself, and this tribe just takes off! Hello again everyone! I will probably be having more regular computer access to check in once in a while - I am still travelling, and have been since last spring - nice to see you all are talking and for some people, having new relevations about yourself - or reassurances that you are perfectly normal in our tribe with your extraordinary gifts as a Lunar Fish!

I popped back in to our old threads... I apologize for the long delay... but believe me, that Pisces Moon is really emerging prominently in my life now, as I move from a physical healer (massage therapist) to intuitive/divine healer (breathworker, moving towards shamanism) during the course of an extremely dramatic and transformative year for me. I've had to learn to trust my intuition even more, and let go of my physical attachments and reassurances.

And, please a request - if you have any thematically appropriate pictures to add to our photo album - please do! I'd love to see some Lunar Fish art :) many blessings, all.

the craters of the moon
filled with the truest and deepest emotion
I slip in, while the glistening surface
casts fluid light into my imagination
Onto your body…

There is a quiet below the surface
a world of whispers and knowing
an intimate place of self
and a connection to the ethers
knowing all that is
and surrendering to the weightlessness
the timelessness
here in the womb of moment…

It’s the surrender to the living waters,
that is how knowing arrives
the openness
for the water quickly moves on
without a vessel to hold it,

I am the inbetween
the body that is for spirit
the instrument for music
the glass to hold the water,
touching only material
yet feeling only ethers,

I am what cannot be written
a rhythem that never stops
or is known,
because the only place of silence
is the place which I observe from,
and that place is known by no one,
yet it is shared by all.

As you join me here in this place,
creating a shared singularity,
I can feel the surface,
which is yet another veil,
arching upwards slowly,
until the tension of the plane
gives birth to a fluid sphere,
a tear down the cheek,
a bead of sweat,
a constantly changing crystalline presence
that hides inside my heart,
awaiting another commune with source
which we make by knowing each other…

So relax into love,
for that is where your heart naturally resides,

and there is no need for thirst,
for we are all here together
floating in the nurturing waters
awaiting the awakening
when we will be birthed,

into the devine mystery…

Love is a breath of fresh air,

lunar eclipse

Just wondering two things during the time of the lunar eclipse -

Do any of you notice that you are easily set back into old, kind of heavy emotiona reactions?

And

Have any of you had anyone contact you recently that was a very unlikely person to have contacted you out of the blue? Like maybe they were thinking of you but you weren't of them?
