We all have emotional needs that help us feel secure, happy and loved. What do you folks with Pisces Moon need in relationships to make you feel happy?

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Wed, February 13, 2008 - 7:15 PMPatience.
Really Pisces Moon people can be seemingly overly-emotional so patience is something that will let us know that we are loved indirectly. Also, simple things like not dismissing emotions we have. They are as real as any proven fact. Dismiss the emotions and you dismiss the person in deep way when this moon is involved. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, February 14, 2008 - 6:00 AMThere are a lot of things I need (which is probably why I'm single- ha!), but it's so convoluted that I'm not sure whether my Pisces needs it, or my rising or sun sign.
1. Security- I need to know that I'll wake up tomorrow and not find you gone. Or just not liking me anymore. I can give you most wonderful things and feelings if I feel like I can invest myself in you.
2. Understanding- I get apparently very emotional. What is merely me discussing something, to someone else seems like i'm screaming from the rooftops. If you wonder how I could possibly be 'just a little upset' with a few tears, if you think that this is the worst it gets, man, you've got a long road to travel my friend. Just sit back and accept that it'll always be this way.
3. Don't be OK with me being upset. Fix it.
4. Time and affection together. Mild public affection, mucho private affection. I'd like to spend the first few months in the bedroom, actually.
5. Respect- I may talk like a fairy princess sometimes, but I'm smart. I can probably kick your butt. My instincts are awesome. Treat me like a prized professor whom you just happen to get to kiss. (I actually shocked my last boyfriend when we walked in to the bookstore and I started comparing Mayan culture to ancient Hindu cultures).
6. If we're together more than 8 months, get me jewelry. I won't trust you if you refuse to adorn me with any jewels. Makes me think you think I'm a free ride. Invest in me and I'll invest in you. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, February 14, 2008 - 5:11 PM3. Don't be OK with me being upset. Fix it.
huh? Not sure what this means. Sometimes we're upset just cause and really it's not another's place to fix.
If really really upset, I've found that the whole fixing it approach does more damage than good.....specially if emotional. -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 5:44 AMIf I'm upset on my own, I know it and let that person know. However, I've found that when I date, the guy has usually said or done something that upset me. In the latter case, it's his job to correct whatever he did. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 6:44 AMLexie,
Let me ask you though...do you tell him he upset you or do you "expect him to know". I have to admit that in some of my experiences with Pisces Mooners they believe that people should be able to just know things without being told....now I am a Scorpio Moon so very in tune with the watery stuff...but even I am not a mind-reader. Just wondering what you meant by them fixing it..... -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 7:54 AMLOL. No, I'm very practical in all matters. When it comes down to me being upset, I state clearly what upset me. I lay down 'rules' or guidelines to keep me happy. I'm clear as rain. I may be a Pisces moon, but I'm a Taurus sun, and have my Venus in Aries. -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 7:59 AMI don't generally ascribe to the 'bubble' belief. That each person is an island, that no one makes anyone feel anything, that no one is responsible for anyone else's feelings. We are social creatures and live in a society. We do affect one another and I do think that in part, we are always responsible for the feelings of others. I know that the urge in this modern age when someone makes a statement like 'keep me happy', most wish to jump on the wagon of saying 'You must love yourself, only you can make you happy.' In many ways, this is true. However, you can love yourself to the dickens and enrich your life all you like, other people will still have a big affect on it. If I expect something from someone else, whose intentions should be to care for me, it's not for lacking something within, it's lacking something without.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Tue, June 3, 2008 - 10:25 AMI agree, fixing is best done internally. Gemini Rising, Taurus Sun cusp, Pisces Moon cusp, Venus in Aries (crushes are a bitch). Sometimes being too sensitive is you own fault, not the person that is trying to cope with your emotionality.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, February 15, 2008 - 8:41 PMThat is a good list Lexie. I can definetly relate. The one that stood out for me today was the patience one. I don't find Pisces energy to be one to hold on to the bitter end and I find that my emotions work themselves out pretty quickly. I wish more people would be patient with me. The calm after the storm is so...well, calm and beautiful. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Sat, February 16, 2008 - 2:50 PMI TOTALLY agree. I rant and rave (or if I'm happy, exuberance!myself out) until I'm exhausted, and then, I'm pleased as pie. LOL. Most people are sort of still in shock and walking on eggshells while I'm way over it. So strange. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Sat, February 16, 2008 - 2:56 PMYes, I get that one. I have to tell them I'm over it but they still feel wounded by the blast! My venus is on the Aries cusp so I don't think that helps. I really really try to chanel my emoting 'up' rather than out so they don't feel it so personally. Oh it's hard! -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Sun, February 17, 2008 - 12:52 PMDefinitely! I have a Venus in Aries as well. I'm starting to feel bad for my ex boyfriends. LOL.
Yeah, I fall into shock when any guy lasts past my first 'blast'. I think it's happened only twice.

Fri, March 7, 2008 - 7:33 PMAMEN SISTER! I couldn't have made a better list myself! My BF laughs at me and calls me "princess" (totally in jest) because I want so much attention well affection from him. He's a Scorpio so he totally loves it that I'm all over him demanding affection but he prods at me about it too. He knows that it's when I'm not wanting his affection that he should worry! =) -

Tue, March 11, 2008 - 3:23 PMI think I like a sweet, kind, polite, compassionate woman the best. I think it takes another pisces moon to understand a Pisces moon. Are you in school? Out of School? What kind of work do you do? I kind of have an overwhelming occupation. I deal with other people's problems all day. I would love to get an emailfrom you. Sincerely, Mark

Mon, February 18, 2008 - 12:16 PMspeaking as a woman...
the other person to be a pillar of strength, direction, and power (while conveying just a gleam of the promise of he/she being able to fall in love with us) so we can surrender ecstatically.
which at the end of the day is all we really want to do, non?

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Sat, March 8, 2008 - 5:45 PMPlease can you help me.. my boyfriend is pisces moon and mercury, sun aries, venus aquarius, mars leo. i´m sun in leo, moon sag, venus leo, mars aquarius, mercury virgo. He is the most amazing man i´ve ever met and we have a strong connection. His pisces moon overshaddows his sun in aries which makes him so kind, compassionate and understanding, qualities i love. He does take on the worries of the world and injustices and pain people suffer, i feel his pain too and it´s so upsetting seeing him in such a state. When it gets too much for him he goes wild binge drinking, i really want to help him find another way of dealing with these emotions because of the damage such excessive drinking does. He´s just gone awol and taken off on his own to the woods, to get away from the pain he feels. i´m worried sick. Are there any alternative therapies that might help. He´s a painter and expresses a lot of his emotions on canvas but it´s not enough. -

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Mon, March 10, 2008 - 4:27 PMOhhh Ciara...I know an artist Aries Sun, Pisces Moon man too but he really watches his experimentation because he knows that it can be dangerous for him. Also h must be feeling the Saturn opposition to his Moon right now (Saturn is in Virgo) and I have heard from some Pisces Mooners that it has been kind of hard for them lately...very alone and alienated.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Tue, March 11, 2008 - 6:52 AMIt's possible he's feeling a shift in the energy of the world, and is taking it hard. There are some transits going on that are more unpleasant than pleasant, and it's possible he's seeing the oily end of the stick.
There are those who are expecting the unexpected this month, and they are doing well. Those who expect the status quo are suffering. I think the best you can do is slowly teach him how to adapt to life's ...dreadful turns. He doesn't seem like an unchangeable person, from what you described...but you never know. There are a lot of people in the dumps right now, and he could be picking up their energy very strongly.
Personally, I would rather be addicted to affection than alcohol. I usually don't prescribe physical affection, but I think in this case, copious amounts might be to his benefit. -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Fri, March 14, 2008 - 12:46 PMThanks for the advice! You´re right with all the transits... they must be causing it. He´s not back yet so I can´t even talk to him or give him affection! So how do you deal with it when you feel like you can´t cope? -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 10:46 AMI have the fortune of having two fixed planets, one earth, that keep me balanced during those really emotional times/transits. It's not always easy, at all, because my first inclination is to lash out or stab someone or something. lol. My stress is violent rather than ...crying, or what have you.
Normally, I'll take a couple tylenol, and sink into a TV daze, or meditate for a while instead...and if it's a truly terrible day, i'll knock myself out with Nyquil or Tylenol PM and start over the next day.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Wed, April 30, 2008 - 4:40 PMI am also a Pisces Moon /Aries sun. it is an odd combination, a sort of Alpha-Omega thing, like a old soul given a bright new fiery start.
The primal firey Sun is a good pendant to the old Tenth House Pisces moon.
What do Pisces Moon want? In my case, I tend to treat people that have made it into the inner circle very well but I expect the same. Lack of respect is a biggie for me and so is being taken for granted. Anyone indulging in this a tad too long gets the mad ram and is very surprised. Oh, my Venus is splat on my Aries sun so I do not know if that makes a difference, except that I have no qualms going after a man that I want, though I can be subtle about it. I am always impecably ethical however.
As Pisces moon we are everything since Pisces is the final sign so we are polymorphous and unless the chart is heavily affected, kind and empathic. We contain all the other signs so the personal must be checked for the specific.
But what applies to other watery moons also apply to us: we need our tender feelings respected and handled softly and in kind.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 9:48 AMI am have sun/venus in Libra Sun/Venus, and moon in Pisces. My Mercury and Ascendant are Scorpio. Although I have am very much a Libra I have found that as I've gotten older I have definitely grown into my Pisces moon....it is both a blessing and a curse. I never really started to understand it until very recently.
I've thought a lot about this since Coors asked her question...b/c it's a very good one. What does a Pisces moon need?
I need a lot of reassurance lately, that you are there for me - that you won't just disappear. That I can reach out to you w/o worrying that it makes me look too "emotional" or "clingy." which we sometimes get a bad rap for.
I need you to allow me to be free to express my emotions, no matter how scary for you they might be...because they are a part of me, it is who I am, and if you are going to love me then you must honor this part of me.
When I get into "retreat from the world" mode I need gentle nurturing to coax me back out......I don't need tough love, or criticism, or disappearing acts. I need you to love me more when I'm in these times, and let me know it is going to be ok.
And, like Lexie, I do need affection - but I think this ties back to reassurance for me - I want and need your affection, both publicly and privately. I am very sentimental and I love to cuddle. As far as sex goes - I am a big believer in setting (my Libra side talking) but I also believe in soul- type sex....like really being one with your lover. I am enjoying a mild flirtation most recently with a Mars in Pisces and find that this is a common point of interest....:)
All in all I am finding that I am very vulnerable - but only those who know me EXTREMELY well would ever attest to it. Outwardly I can come across as very much a Libra - social, charming, polite and very flirtatious. But in my alone time there is a completely different side - a strong yet very vulnerable young lady who wants reassurance and unconditional love......but only because I know what I have to give.
I know that a Pisces moon placement is not for everyone, and that's ok. I am finding that other water signs understand me best in my intimate/emotional relationships and earth/fire signs in friendship. I recently got involved with a Scorpio moon male and the connection seems almost pyschic at times, though I'm much more open about my emotion than he is.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 10:48 AMI find it a wonder that your ascendant is Scorpio, but everyone sees you as friendly, warm and charming. Not that scorpio doesn't have its charms, but it tends to come across as brooding, mysterious and sensual.
Have you gotten in touch with your ascendant much? -
-
Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 12:37 PMIt's funny that you say that Lexie...because despite being very warm, I am also very reserved, so much so that others have commented that they sense in me a "mysterious" energy, and sometimes an aloofness.
I have also been told a few times recently that my energy affects others in a drastic way - like if I'm off then the whole group is off because of me. Strange! I was actually just very recently given that "feedback" in a peformance review at my job. I guess that might be my Scorio ascendant coming through....? I don't know much about Scorpio rising so I'm not entirely sure.
And I am also a very very sensual person....always attributed that to the Piscean influence but perhaps it is my ascendant.
Interesting none-the-less.
I will say I admire your posts - about your readiness to communicate very willingly when you are upset, etc. I wish I could learn how to do a better job of articulating/communicating when I am upset, it's very hard for me...but I think that's more due to fear than anything else.

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Thu, March 20, 2008 - 1:30 PMI hope it wouldnt' bother anyone if I responded here about the Scorp rising. If it does, please delete this and I'll communicate with Cate via email.
I have a Scorp rising myself, so I sort of know how this goes. We elicit strong reactions out of people, even when we're not trying or are being rather calm. This usually comes as a surprise to us and we see others as being overemotional. The truth is, we tend to see whatever they're hiding and point it out like we would a fly on the wall, and it sets them off into meltdowns. We exude sexuality...that's just the way it is. LOL. People think 'sex' when they're in proximity to us. Sex also has a sort of 'healing' aspect with us. It centers us, smoothes over all our hurts, and is like a balm on a nasty cut. We have a desire to dominate others, discover all their secrets. Our reactions to being hurt are either to serve a particularly cutting remark that'll break someone down into tears, or we'll turn off so suddenly and irrevocably that the other party is left stunned. While our presence adds atmosphere to a room, our absence also does in its conspicuousness. We generally have an interest in the occult. We need periods of alone time, or we will lash out. We are loyal, and prefer long term relationships. A part of us likes to break people down. We can be wounded, but recover amazingly well.
LOL. So there's a brief bit. I have scorpio/taurus/pisces, so I'm basically a big puddle of sex. Your Pisces moon does in fact play a part in sensuality...but in a different way. Your pisces moon is the part that gets off on the idea of being dominated. Pisces clings, holds, submits, wants to entirely meld with a lover...and that certainly has it's own appeal :)

Re: Advice to other signs - what does Pisces Moon need?
Sat, March 22, 2008 - 12:47 AMI think it depends on how the moon is aspected and which house it resides in for Pisces moreso than other signs because we're kind of like water itself embodied anyway - so the vessel in which we're/water's held in shapes the inner experience for the chart owner. We know that house inside and out.
Wine's nice, too.
